Rifleman. 3/7. Iraq.
Four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines — including a deployment to Iraq — and an honorable discharge. Now on the transportation and delivery side of Smart Fed Supply.
Four years. One standard.
Daniel enlisted in the Marine Corps in March 2006 and served four years on active duty as an 0311 infantry rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines out of Twentynine Palms, California — the Corps' desert-warfare home. His service included a deployment to Iraq during the height of the war, over a year of foreign service in total, and a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with a second award.
He was honorably discharged in March 2010 as a Lance Corporal with a Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal — the award that says you did it right, every day, for the full stretch. Today he brings that same standard to freight: Smart Fed Supply's transportation and delivery lane, alongside his long-time friend and fellow Marine, Philip McCulloch.

What a rifleman brings to a supply company
Every Marine is a rifleman; an 0311 is the one whose whole job it is. That is discipline, accountability and follow-through as a daily habit.
The 'Cutting Edge' battalion trains where the Corps rehearses for the desert — the same conditions he deployed into.
Deployed to Iraq during the war, with more than a year of foreign service on the record — logistics under real pressure, not theory.
Awarded for a full term of honorable, faithful service. It is earned by showing up right every day for years, not by one event.
Clean record, honorable character of service, eligible to re-enlist. The paper says what the people who served with him already knew.
A friendship that predates the company. When the founder needed someone he trusted on the freight side, this is who he called.
Smart Fed Supply's freight and delivery work is where he lives: on-time, on-spec, no excuses — the same standard he was held to in uniform.
